These are the Official Rules for Pentair Residential Flow’s July 2011 iPad® Sweepstakes (“Sweepstakes”).
NO PURCHASE IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW.
1. By entering the Pentair Residential Flow iPad® Sweepstakes (“Sweepstakes”), you fully and unconditionally guarantee to abide by and accept these Official Rules. Failure to comply with these Official Rules may result in disqualification.
2. The Sweepstakes is open only to legal residents of the United States who as of 07/25/2011 are eighteen years of age or older.
3. To enter the Sweepstakes, visit www.hydromatic.com/Residential.aspx, www.sta-rite.com, www.berkeleypumps.com, or www.myersresidential.com/Residential.aspx (“Pentair Residential Flow web sites”) and follow the directions provided to enter. Entries are limited to one total per person. The Sweepstakes will begin at 8:00am (Central Standard Time) on August 1, 2011 and will run through 11:59 p.m. (Central Standard Time) on August 12, 2011 (“Sweepstakes Period”).
4. All entries must be submitted online through the survey provided at the Pentair Residential Flow web sites during the Sweepstakes Period or must be mailed to:

You must enter your complete name and contact information to be eligible to win. Entering additional survey information is optional.
5. Pentair Residential Flow shall not be responsible for lost, late or misdirected entries, or entries containing incorrect or incomplete information. Pentair Residential Flow is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunctions of any telephone network or lines, computer, on-line, or Internet systems or services, servers, computer equipment, software, failure of any email or entry or confirmation or winners notice on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet, problems with the Pentair Residential Flow website, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to entrant’s or any other person’s computer resulting from downloading any materials in connection with the Sweepstakes. Entries become the property of Pentair Residential Flow and will not be acknowledged or returned.
6. One (1) winner will be selected from a random drawing held on or about August 15, 2011 from among all eligible entries received. The winner will be notified by e-mail or telephone. Odds of winning depend on number of eligible entries received.
7. The winner will receive an Apple iPad® (approximate retail value: $599.99) Certain restrictions may apply and Pentair reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value.
8. The winner shall be responsible for all applicable taxes (federal, state and local) and for all fees associated with activating and using the prize.
9. Acceptance of any prize constitutes consent to use your name and likeness for editorial, advertising and publicity purposes without additional compensation, except where prohibited by law.
10. Employees of Pentair Inc., its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising or promotional agencies, and their immediate family members and/or those living in same household are not eligible to enter the Sweepstakes.
11. No substitution or transfer of prize permitted except as provided herein. The winning prize may not be redeemed for cash. Pentair reserves the right to substitute a prize of greater or equal value.
12. The winner may, at Pentair Residential Flow’s discretion, be required to sign and return a declaration of eligibility, additional release of liability, and, where lawful, an additional publicity consent agreement. If a selected winner cannot be contacted, is ineligible, fails to claim a prize, or fails to return the completed and executed declaration and releases as required, the prize will be forfeited and awarded to an alternate winner.
13. In the event of a dispute as to entries submitted by multiple users having the same email account, the authorized subscriber of the email account used to enter the Sweepstakes at the actual time of entry will be deemed to be the entrant and must comply with these Official Rules.
14. By entering, you agree to release and hold harmless Pentair Inc., its parents, subsidiaries and affiliated entities, and each of their directors, officers, employees, attorneys, agents, and representatives from any damage, injury, expense, cost, death, loss, claim, action, demand, or other liability that may arise in connection with the Sweepstakes, or resulting from their acceptance and/or use of any prize, their travel to or from any prize related activity, their participation in this promotion, or from any misuse or malfunction of any prize awarded, including, without limitation, personal injury, death, and/or property damage.
15. Pentair Residential Flow reserves the right to disqualify any person tampering with the entry process, the operation of the Pentair Residential Flow website, or who is otherwise in violation of these Official Rules or any laws. Pentair Residential Flow further reserves the right to cancel, terminate or modify the Sweepstakes in the event the Sweepstakes is not capable of completion as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, or technical failures of any kind.
16. Any dispute arising from this Sweepstakes will be determined according to the laws of the State of Wisconsin, without reference to its conflict of laws principles, and the entrants consent to the personal jurisdiction of the State and Federal Court located in Dane County, Wisconsin and agree that such courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction over all such disputes.
